In her working group "Vorbilder" [Role models] Irene Andessner re-worked self-portraits of female painters from four centuries for video and photographic works - interpreted for today. Self-portraits after self-portraits by Sofonisba Anguissola (1552), Angelika Kauffmann (1770-75), Gwen John (1900) and Frida Kahlo (1930), in addition to a self-portrait without role model. The motif of the silk-screen print "Gwen John" shows the reproduction of a Polaroid negative.
