Motifs:
Marlene Dietrich alias Irene Andessner, who has perfectly re-staged Joseph Sternberg's Dietrich “Morocco” portrait of 1930.

The photo portraits were reproduced from a baryt paper print of a black and white 35 mm negative (“Romy” motif) or reproduced from an 8 x 10 inch Polaroid (“Marlene”) in four-colour foil printing (with duotone effect).

The lighter is presented in a silver chromolux card gift box; on the lid the relevant portrait motif is shown in postcard size. The history or conception of the portrait is shown on the inside of the lid in French, German and English (see attached - English followd by French).
